Studio A

Featuring A Pre-Lit Green Screen That Saves Time & Money

Studio A is Meets the Eye Studios’ largest shooting space. At 50’ x 70’ with 17’ ceilings, it provides an immense area for all sorts of shooting possibilities. Studio A is also renowned for having one of the largest green screen coves in the Bay Area: a pre-lit 25’ x 53’ green screen, saving productions up to two hours of prep time. Productions have flexibility in power distribution with 2400A 3-Phase power and 12 quad receptacles, each on its own 20A circuit.

12’ x 12’ motorized loading doors provide quick access to back parking and allow crew to bring in large equipment, even an entire grip truck. An HD-SDI network enables your camera feed to be distributed to production crew in any office or conference room in the entire Meets the Eye Studios facility. Studio A also features a complete lighting grid (with speed rail) capable of wire work, and an HVAC system quiet enough that you can record sync sound while it’s running at 100%.

Meets the Eye Studios maintains high standards and Studio A is always immaculate, neat, and empty when new production crews arrive, ensuring they have complete run of the entire space without ever having to work around someone else’s equipment. The green screen cove is regularly re-painted for maximum quality onscreen and off, and the HVAC temperature is always set to keep talent and crew comfortable, even under hot lighting.

Studio A rentals come with access to a scissor lift, along with chairs, tables, ladders, C-stands, sandbags, and other standard setup equipment. Talent and crew are welcome to use the facility’s Wi-Fi/wired networking, as well as the HD-SDI network for live video feeds. A Meets the Eye Studios stage manager is available for questions and consultation.
